Cecilia Ruichen Zhang
WHO IS CECILIA
Cecilia Ruichen Zhang is a bilingual Creative Producer, Director based in New York City.
She holds a BA in Theater Directing from UC Santa Barbara and is currently an MFA in Film Creative Producing at Columbia University.
She has worked in more than 10 theater productions as Director, Producer, Assistant Director, and Stage Manager. After discovering her interest in cinematic storytelling, she steps on a path of filmmaking and Produced/Directed/ADed/Casted nearly 20 indie short films.
Through her work, Cecilia is devoted to investigating individual and universal human needs and dilemmas, and amplifying the voices of under-represented communities from a female's perspective.
